Membership 2024/25

Applications accepted beginning June 1, 2024

All members of Carousel Sherwood FSC will benefit from a warm and welcoming environment, with fun and safe skating activities. All our members build lasting friendships and share in a camaraderie of sportsmanship. Members can participate in club run activities on and off the ice, including parties, clinics, seminars, community, and social events. Our club is run exclusively by volunteers and our members are encouraged to volunteer for all club events to ensure success.

Safe Sport Compliance training is suggested for all members over 18 and will be required for some depending on their role in the club and USFS. CSFSC reserves the right to refuse any membership for any reason without explanation. The privilege of membership may be withdrawn or denied at any time when it is determined that a member’s conduct is inconsistent with the mission of the organization or the best interest of the sport and those who participate. Some applicants may be asked to provide additional information.

BRONZE MEMBERSHIP $80 (Aspire)

This membership is for Oregon Ice Academy/Sherwood Ice Arena LTS Skaters ONLY. Skaters will only be able to test as high as their first level tests (Pre- Preliminary Skating Skills and Singles, Preliminary Dances, Adult Pre-Bronze) with this membership. This membership includes membership to US Figure Skating. Skaters receive certificates for passing tests, a subscription to SKATING magazine, coverage under U.S. Figure Skating's sports accident insurance policy. This membership DOES NOT include a parent membership, gives no voting rights and is NOT eligible for our Test Reimbursement Fund. This membership is renewable until the skaters reaches the test level maximum.

BRONZE ADDITIONAL FAMILY MEMBERSHIP $60

This membership is for families that have more than one skater in the Oregon Ice Academy programs. Skaters will only be able to test as high as their first level tests (Pre- Preliminary Skating Skills and Singles, Preliminary Dances, Adult Pre-Bronze) with this membership. This membership includes a membership to USFS. Skaters receive certificates for passing tests, a subscription to SKATING magazine, coverage under U.S. Figure Skating's sports accident insurance policy, as well as special offers and discounts from U.S. Figure Skating corporate partners. This membership does not include a parent membership, gives no voting rights and is NOT eligible for our Test Reimbursement Fund.

SILVER MEMBERSHIP $150 (Only available for ONE membership year!)

This membership is for skaters who are interested in testing preliminary or higher. This membership is a bridge membership from Bronze/Aspire to Full Club Membership. It is only available for ONE membership year. This membership includes membership to USFS. Skaters receive certificates for passing tests, a subscription to SKATING magazine, coverage under U.S. Figure Skating's sports accident insurance policy, as well as special offers and discounts from U.S. Figure Skating corporate partners. First year members are eligible for the CSFSC Test Reimbursement Fund. Please see CSFSC Test Reimbursement Fund webpage for more details. This membership also includes one voting parent membership to USFS & the club. Not a renewable membership, only available for one year.

GOLD MEMBERSHIP $220

Gold membership is a full membership to USFS, and skaters are eligible to take part in the CSFSC Test Reimbursement Fund. Please see CSFSC Test Reimbursement Fund webpage for more details. This membership includes one voting parent membership for the club and USFS.  Skaters will receive certificates for passing tests, a subscription to SKATING magazine, coverage under U.S. Figure Skating's sports accident insurance policy. Skaters will also be eligible for special offers and discounts from U.S. Figure Skating corporate partners.

SILVER & GOLD ADDITIONAL SKATER MEMBERSHIP (FAMILY) $115

This membership is for families that have more than one testing skater in the family. Additional membership includes a membership to USFS. Skaters receive certificates for passing test, a subscription to SKATING magazine, coverage under U.S. Figure Skating's sports accident insurance policy, as well as special offers and discounts from U.S. Figure Skating corporate partners. Additional members are members are eligible to take part in the CSFSC Test Reimbursement Fund. Please see CSFSC Test Reimbursement Fund webpage for more details. This membership does not include a parent.

ADDITIONAL PARENT MEMBERSHIP $45

This is for the family that wishes to have more than one parent as a member or for a parent of a Bronze Membership skater. Parents will have club voting rights, a USFS and club memberships. Must be 18 or Older.

COLLEGIATE MEMBERSHIP $150 (Must be a high school graduate attending a 4-year college or university to qualify.)

This is for members 17 years and older attending a college or university. This is a 4-year membership to the club and to USFS. Skaters receive certificates for passing test, a subscription to SKATING magazine, coverage under U.S. Figure Skating's sports accident insurance policy, as well as special offers and discounts from U.S. Figure Skating corporate partners. Collegiate members are eligible to take part in the CSFSC Test Reimbursement Fund with restrictions. Please see CSFSC Test Reimbursement Fund webpage for more details. Voting rights at 18. This membership does not include a parent.

ADULT MEMBERSHIP $95

Must be at least 18 years of age. Adult membership includes membership to USFS. Skaters receive certificates for passing test, a subscription to SKATING magazine, coverage under U.S. Figure Skating's sports accident insurance policy, as well as special offers and discounts from U.S. Figure Skating corporate partners. Includes club voting rights.

COACH MEMBERSHIP $80

This membership is for coaches ONLY. Membership includes USFS full membership. A subscription to SKATING magazine, coverage under U.S. Figure Skating's sports accident insurance policy, as well as special offers and discounts from U.S. Figure Skating corporate partners. Includes club voting rights.

OFFICIAL’S MEMBERSHIP $80

This membership is for officials ONLY. Membership includes USFS full membership. A subscription to SKATING magazine, coverage under U.S. Figure Skating's sports accident insurance policy, as well as special offers and discounts from U.S. Figure Skating corporate partners. Includes club voting rights.

AFFILIATE/ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP $50

This membership is for friends and members of other clubs to be a part of Carousel Sherwood FSC. Affiliate members will be included in all club activities at no or minimal cost.  (No voting rights)

ALL MEMBERSHIPS INCLUDE 10% PROCESSING FEES (NON-REFUNDABLE)
